The Zodiac of Venice
The famous clock tower bearing the 12 signs of the Zodiac overlooking St. Mark’s Square and the Mercerie
was built and installed by Gian Paulo and Gian Carlo Rainieri, in 1496 with bronze Moors that strike the hours.
