Gondolas
Gondolas are traditional flat bottomed Venetian rowing boats, built in an asymmetric shape to help with the balance
and movement of the gondolier. The bow of the gondola symbolizes the 6 districts of Venice, the 7 th tooth
represents the district of Guidecca / Dorsoduro and the “S” shape of the iron gondola head the Grand Canal.
